Mediation

Mediation is defined in Greek law under 3898/2010 as “the, independent of his designation, structured proceeding, in which two or more disputes involved try to accommodate the dispute with help of a mediator”. Whilst all involved submit themselves to the rules of the law above, they utilize a proceeding which is accepted by both sides by receiving support from a specially skilled, impartial and uninvolved third person, conducting negotiations, to find solutions which fit best to their interests. In case of a positive end for these “supported” proceedings the agreements become contractual in a protocol, which can be converted in an enforceable title applying to inland and in foreign countries.
